Can My Essay Be in First Person

From the first-person (your own) point of view, compose a 400-word minimum (500-word maximum) personal narrative essay about yourself. For an example of a personal narrative, refer to the “About Me” essay for content and formatting. Include your own creative title, but do not use “About Me” as a title. To view the example “About Me” essay, click here. Notice the identity of the assignment (Daily Writing 1.1) next to the name of the writer. Also notice the placement of the essay’s title (centered directly over the first paragraph). Your essay should conform to the same format. Click here for instructions about paragraph requirements in this course. For help with first-person point of view, see the “Can My Essay Be in First Person?” video in the course “How To” section.
