Networked Communication

For your paper, you must identify one example of an influencer who uses networked communication – either intentionally or unintentionally – to impact one of these categories of mass communication: advertising, public relations, marketing, political communication, journalism, or entertainment media (e.g., movies, TV, recorded music, radio, podcasts, etc.). Your paper should describe and analyze how this influencer uses networked communication to pursue a strategic goal within one of the categories of mass communication. It must be word-processed and double-spaced, with 12-point Times New Roman font and one-inch margins. Your paper must include a minimum of three sources from reputable media outlets. Given the topic, I expect most of your sources will come from popular mass media – newspapers, magazines, online sites. But I expect you to find in-depth and insightful articles from reputable popular and trade publications. You must properly cite the sources you use in your paper using either APA, Chicago, or MLA citation style.
